Hunters’ client is a business and accountancy practice specialises in providing efficient, proactive services in a friendly manner to small and medium sized businesses, private clients, trusts and charities.
Reporting to the PA our client requires an organised and conscientious Administration Assistant to join the busy Administration Department to provide efficient administrative support to the Company, which will involve a wide range of office duties.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Assisting reception with meeting and greeting visitors; answering the
telephone and directing calls.
Scanning and distribution of incoming post; scanning and franking all
Typing; copy and audio including letters, accounts and reports.
Assisting with marketing including preparation and running of events and inhouse
Maintaining office systems including scanning and archiving client records
and updating libraries.
General administrative support to fee earning staff.
Skills and Attributes required
Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel.
Excellent telephone manner.
Well organised with a keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail.
Awareness of confidentiality and need for discretion.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Previous experience is not required as training will be given on key activities.
9am to 5.30 pm Monday to Thursday
9am to 4.15 pm Friday
(1 hour lunch break)
Paid overtime may be required
Pension: employer contribution is 2% of qualifying salary
Holiday entitlement: starting at 22 days and increasing with length of service
