Hunters’ client is a supremely successful creative gifts and gaming specialist. The Sales Administrator/Junior Account Manager is a new position and involves a varied mix of sales, telesales, account management, administration and updating / developing CRM. Naturally this role will involve working to a set targets, which means the Sales Administrator/Junior Account Manager needs to have a flair and passion for sales and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful applicant will be working very closely with the National Account Managers. This is an extremely interesting and various role including travel to trade shows and relationship building with retailers and buyers.
Set up telephone campaigns, inviting potential clients to trade shows, discussing latest products and catalogues etc.
Prepare and present detailed quotations of and traded products to customers, ensuring the correct delivery and payment terms are accounted for and that all figures used are correct and margin targets are not compromised
Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact to ensure that business aims are achieved and customer’s deadlines are met
Ensure that customer contact details are kept up-to-date and that the relevant people have the correct information
Managing a set of accounts / customers to maximise sales opportunities. This may involve visiting these clients periodically and so the willingness and ability to travel will be quite important.
Creating and maintaining online price lists. Sending out price lists to customers on an internal database. Checking, reviewing, updating and amending whenever products going onto special offer and when a new catalogue is launched.
Help the sales team with all administration so we require a person who can learn and use the CRM system: update it and help develop it.
