    Senior Administrative Specialist

    Salary in the region of £25K

    Working hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm / Friday 8:30am-3:45pm

    Hunters’ client is a global IT manufacturing and distribution company requiring an experienced Senior Sales Administrator to work closely with the dynamic Managing Director.The bulk of the position would be to manage the sales order loading and internal admin functions – including the organisation of company travel, catering, and minute taking

    In addition our client requires someone who has a real eye for detail and who can manage the company property portfolio – this will entail visiting properties to carry out viewings and audits, the issuing of leases, follow-up on annual reviews.Therefore a driving license is required.

    It really would suit someone with experience who is looking for a job that is wide ranging and includes dealing with company sensitive information, but can of course work at director level.

    Knowledge and Skills Required

    Good oral and written communication skills, including computer literacy.

    Wide range of administrative skills at senior level with supervisory experience.

    Ability to work under pressure.

    Previous customer service experience.

    Responsibilities

    General administrative duties including all incoming calls, opening and distribution of inbound post, faxes, photocopying and filing, update of holiday planner and maintenance of sickness records. Update and maintenance of sales team phone figures, including weekly reporting.

    Administration duties for the sales team upon request, but to include account entry, reschedules, sending of CD’s and other sales literature, database maintenance, respond and manage all sales order progression enquiries up to and including POD’s.

    Provide administrative support to the business teams for the booking of hotels, flights, exhibitions and seminar projects; organising catering for any internal meetings.

    Continually work to develop and improve customer service standards including various market research surveys on request.

    Ensure that any customer and supplier dialogue is recorded accurately.

    To provide an interface between customers and courier services, to deal effectively with late or failed deliveries.

    Progress all evaluation orders and proforma accounts to ensure timely conclusion.

    Assisting the Directors and the managers with administrative work as required.

    To help, guide and assist other departments as required, and to participate fully as part of the team.
