£44,000 salary + flexible night-shift start time

Hunters’ client is looking for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Machinist to join its skilled manufacturing team in Chichester.

You’ll be programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC machines, producing complex, high-precision components within a modern engineering environment.

The shift

Monday to Friday – 8-hour night shift
Flexible start time from 6pm onwards

What we’re looking for

  • At least 2 years’ 5-axis CNC machining experience
  • Confident programming, setting and operating
  • Able to work accurately from engineering drawings
  • Experience with CAM software
  • Good knowledge of precision measuring equipment
  • A strong eye for quality and accuracy

Experience machining composites would be particularly useful.

Knowledge of HyperMILL, Belotti or CMS machines, Fanuc or Siemens controls would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
