An assistant commercial property manager/administrator with passion for launching a career in property management is required for Hunters’ leading estate planning property client. The commercial property manager manages a portfolio of commercial blocks and estates.
Perm, FT, office based: 35 hours Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 – 1 hr lunch break
Administrator – commercial property – the job
- Provide an efficient and effective service to landlords and tenants, including contractual and financial management
- Manage tenants and their Lease
- Prepare and issue service charge budgets to quarterly deadlines
- Carry out routine (normally six monthly) and emergency inspections of properties and prepare inspection reports for internal action and reference
- Produce specifications for cyclical maintenance (e.g. Internal redecorations) and contract/term maintenance agreements (e.g. cleaning, gardening, lifts, entry phone systems), draw up tender documents, review tenders and appoint contractors
Administrator – commercial property – the fit
- Driving license
- Property administration/management experience, or strong administration combined with a clear passion for a property career
- An ability to read, understand and apply relevant clauses within Commercial leases, particularly in respect of the various covenants pertaining to responsibilities for repair and maintenance
