Hunters are delighted to be recruiting for a respected engineering and manufacturing client in Hailsham who are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter / Operator to join their skilled machining team.

The Role
- Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components
- Work from engineering drawings and machining specifications
- Set tooling, adjust offsets and inspect first-off parts
- Run both proven and unproven programs, identifying and resolving issues
- Maintain high standards of quality and on-time delivery
- Support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities
About You
- Proven CNC milling experience as a Setter/Operator
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience with FANUC, Heidenhain or Siemens controls
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and materials
- Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Positive team player with a proactive approach
Desirable
- Offline programming experience (AlphaCAM advantageous)
- CNC turning or manual machining experience
- Engineering apprenticeship or manufacturing qualification
