Worthing (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home post-probation)
£26,000 – £28,000 + Bonus

Hunters’ prestigious utilities client is looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join the Finance team in a hybrid role based in Worthing. You will manage the end-to-end credit control process—from payment reconciliation to debt recovery—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
Credit Controller – job
- Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies
- Manage credit control communications across phone, email, and written correspondence
- Administer and troubleshoot direct debit processes
- Monitor and assess customer credit limits and aged debt
Credit Controller – fit
- Experience in credit control or debt management (ideally B2B or utilities)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to prioritise independently
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
