A manufacturing continuous improvement automotive/mechanical engineer is required for Hunters’ automotive engineering client.

Perm – 37.5hr weeks. Flexible start between 8 or 9am with a 30 min break

 

Engineer – continuous improvement – job

  • Enhance the productivity and efficiency of the manufacturing process with measurable benefit.
  • Analyse value streams, identify problems and develop solutions, aligned with business priorities and objectives.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies ensuring better practice is standardized within operational and delivery teams and processes.
  • Monitor, measure and report on outcomes of implemented solutions.

 

Engineer – continuous improvement – person

  • expert knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen.
  • Is a Subject Matter Expert in root cause analysis and problem solving
  • experienced with complex mechanical product manufacture, assembly and test, ideally combustion engines.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record in delivering productivity and efficiency improvements in an automotive production environment
