A manufacturing continuous improvement automotive/mechanical engineer is required for Hunters’ automotive engineering client.
Perm – 37.5hr weeks. Flexible start between 8 or 9am with a 30 min break
Engineer – continuous improvement – job
- Enhance the productivity and efficiency of the manufacturing process with measurable benefit.
- Analyse value streams, identify problems and develop solutions, aligned with business priorities and objectives.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies ensuring better practice is standardized within operational and delivery teams and processes.
- Monitor, measure and report on outcomes of implemented solutions.
Engineer – continuous improvement – person
- expert knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Is a Subject Matter Expert in root cause analysis and problem solving
- experienced with complex mechanical product manufacture, assembly and test, ideally combustion engines.
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Proven track record in delivering productivity and efficiency improvements in an automotive production environment
