A project planner with an engineering or marine background is required for Hunters’ automotive engineering client, suiting an project planning engineer with presenting and Excel skills.
12-month contract, likelihood of extension Perm – 37.5hr weeks. Mon to Fri 9-5.30

- Creation, maintenance, and progression of an integrated master plan to successfully track and deliver all project workstreams and milestones
- Ensure robust tracking and delivery of this complex project, you will consult with contributors at all levels, across multiple disciplines and geographic locations to manage workstream planning, task dependencies and the critical path; reporting regularly to both internal and external management teams
- Planning and monitoring the progress of major projects throughout their lifecycle
- Assist in the execution of detailed schedules for equipment, materials, and labour with respect to schedule needs versus resource availability
Engineer – Project Planner- person
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and/or experience
- Currently delivering projects in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
- Excellent communication skills and confident in presenting and reporting
- Confident in leading team meetings, both in person and on-line
- Advanced use of MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
- Experience in automotive and/or marine engineering
- Experience in production assembly
- Experience of brown and green field construction projects
