Hunters’ client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function within a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
HR Manager Engineering  – Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the company’s HR function, providing expert support across all people-related matters.
  • Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives.
  • Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the business attracts and retains high-quality talent.
  • Provide professional guidance on all employee relations matters
  • Coach and support managers on all aspects of people management and employment legislation.
  • Oversee performance management, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
  • Coordinate the monthly payroll process with the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and resolving payroll queries

HR Manager Engineering – The Job

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a standalone HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist position.
  • Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Strong experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, policies, risk management and employment legislation.
  • Experience managing outsourced payroll processes and HR systems.

HR Manager Engineering – Qualifications

  • MCIPD qualified.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Significant post-qualification HR experience.
