This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality components to exacting standards in a modern engineering environment.
The Role
- Operate manual lathes and milling machines to manufacture precision metal components
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Machine parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Carry out basic inspection and measurement of completed components
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain safe working practices and a clean work area
About You
- Proven experience operating manual lathes and mills
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of precision machining and tolerances
- Experienced using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
- Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
