Hunters are delighted to be recruiting for a respected engineering and manufacturing client in Hailsham who are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their specialist cleanroom production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical, electro-mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience who enjoys precision work and takes pride in producing high-quality, technically advanced products.
The Role
- Assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from engineering drawings
- Carry out specialist wiring, testing and quality inspections
- Work within a high-specification cleanroom environment
- Record test data and maintain quality documentation
- Support the introduction of new products into production
- Help develop and improve manufacturing instructions and processes
- Occasional travel to customer sites when required
About You
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (Level 3, HNC, HND or equivalent) or relevant hands-on experience
- Previous assembly experience within engineering, manufacturing or cleanroom environments
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Comfortable working from technical drawings and instructions
- Good IT skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
