Hunters’ client, a cutting-edge engineering manufacturer, is looking for a Product Development Engineer to take full ownership of a key product range—driving innovation, quality, and cost optimisation throughout its lifecycle.
Product Development Engineer What You’ll Do:
- Lead design, development, and improvement of high-performance mechanical products
- Manage projects from concept to production, including CAD, BOMs, testing, and supplier collaboration
- Optimise cost, quality, and functionality through redesign, analysis, and root cause problem-solving
- Provide engineering support for custom designs, production, and technical sales
Product Development Engineer What You’ll Bring:
- 3D CAD proficiency (PTC Creo ideal)
- Strong knowledge of DFM, FMEA, and root cause analysis
- Hands-on mechanical design, assembly, or machining experience
- HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
