Hunters are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established engineering and manufacturing client in Hailsham who are seeking an organised and proactive Production Planner to join their growing team.
This is a key role focused on ensuring products move efficiently through production, supporting on-time delivery, and working closely with sales, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams.
The Role
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
- Liaise with sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering teams
- Monitor workloads, capacity, and critical orders
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
- Maintain planning data and ERP systems
- Produce planning reports and performance metrics
About You
- Previous planning experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure
- Knowledge of supply chain or production processes is highly desirable
