Production Scheduler – The Role
Hunters’ client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Scheduler to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, communication-driven role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring production runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and departments stay aligned.
You’ll act as the central link between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain — keeping orders on track and operations running efficiently
- Maintain forward production schedules across all product lines
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage customer orders and confirm delivery dates with Sales
- Monitor order flow through internal systems for full visibility
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve issues proactively
- Support capacity planning and workload prioritisation
- Produce performance reports and track key metrics
- Provide cross-team support when required
Production Scheduler – About You
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident working under pressure and to deadlines
- Analytical with good numerical ability
- Comfortable using Excel and internal systems
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-focuse
Desirable
- ERP or production planning system experience
- Microsoft Dynamics AX exposure
- Manufacturing or assembly background
