A Stock/ Inventory and Demand Planner is required for Hunters’ client, a global and luxury produce retailer/stockist.  Key responsibilities will include forecasting, planning, analysing demand and trends, ensuring correct stock, optimising stock levels and identifying low selling products, utilising ERP and Excel.

  • Utilising historical data to accurately predict product demand.
  • Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimise stock levels, minimise shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and sales, to align supply chain processes and ensure timely product availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and analyse inventory performance metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate regularly with a global supplier base to negotiate terms, manage lead times, and maintain strong vendor relationships

 

Stock Planner – person

 

  • Experience in a similar inventory/stocking planning role
  • Experience liaising with offshore suppliers
  • Excel skills
  • Experience using an ERP
  • Highly analytical mindset with excellent numerical, data visualisation and reporting skills
  • Commercial and retail awareness
