A Stock/ Inventory and Demand Planner is required for Hunters’ client, a global and luxury produce retailer/stockist. Key responsibilities will include forecasting, planning, analysing demand and trends, ensuring correct stock, optimising stock levels and identifying low selling products, utilising ERP and Excel.

- Utilising historical data to accurately predict product demand.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimise stock levels, minimise shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and sales, to align supply chain processes and ensure timely product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyse inventory performance metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate regularly with a global supplier base to negotiate terms, manage lead times, and maintain strong vendor relationships
Stock Planner – person
- Experience in a similar inventory/stocking planning role
- Experience liaising with offshore suppliers
- Excel skills
- Experience using an ERP
- Highly analytical mindset with excellent numerical, data visualisation and reporting skills
- Commercial and retail awareness
