A product technologist is required for Hunters’ large, vibrant and creative-brand wholesale client. The Technologist manages the safety and legislative aspects of product development ensuring products meet safety, quality and integrity standards and conformities as dictated by EU and international directives / laws / regulations

Technologist – the job
- Ensuring all products are tested to the approved requirements
- Review packaging mock ups
- Liaising with NPD at the concept stage of the product development cycle to estimate testing requirements and potential costs, advising as to whether a product could be commercially developed
- Arrange test samples
Technologist – the person
- Product compliance experience and skills e.g. working with products , signing off artwork , test plan allocation, working closely with test labs , understanding of global test requirements and product markings/ warnings
- Ability to read and interpret test reports and completion of customer declarations
- Knowledge and understating of EU directives/ Laws/ regulations applicable in testing products including but not limited to: EN71, EMC, RoHS , REACH
